Ingredients
- Soy Sauce: 1/4 cup
- Honey: 2 tablespoons
- Cornstarch: 1 tablespoon
- Rice Vinegar: 1 tablespoon
- Sesame Oil: 1 teaspoon
- Ground Ginger: 1/2 teaspoon
Instructions
- Step 1: In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and ground ginger.
- Step 2: Ensure the cornstarch is fully dissolved to prevent lumps in your sauce.
- Step 3: If the sauce is too thick, add a tablespoon of water at a time until it reaches your desired consistency.
- Step 4: Use immediately in your stir-fry or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Add directly to the pan with cooked vegetables and protein and heat until thickened.
Notes
- For a flavor boost, lightly toast sesame seeds and sprinkle them over your finished stir-fry.
- Store leftover sauce in a tightly sealed jar in the fridge to keep it fresh.
- If the refrigerated sauce is too thick, whisk in a splash of water before using it in your stir-fry.
- Be sure to fully dissolve the cornstarch to avoid any unwanted lumps in your flavorful sauce!
