- Unsalted butter, softened: 1/2 cup
- Brown sugar, packed: 1/2 cup
- Granulated sugar: 1/4 cup
- Apple cider: 1/2 cup
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Step 3: Gradually add the apple cider to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.
- Step 4: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Step 5: Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Step 6: Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden brown. Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Glaze with brown sugar glaze (recipe not included but widely available).
