Ingredients
- Cream cheese, softened: 8 ounces
- Brown sugar: 1/2 cup
- Butter, softened: 1/4 cup (1/2 stick)
- Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
- Heath bar, crushed: 1/2 cup
- Caramel sauce: 1/4 cup
- Apples, sliced: 2-3 medium
- Pretzel sticks: optional, for serving
Instructions
- Step 1: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, brown sugar, and softened butter together with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Step 2: Stir in the vanilla extract and caramel sauce until well combined.
- Step 3: Gently fold in the crushed Heath bar pieces, reserving a small amount for topping.
- Step 4: Transfer the apple toffee dip to a serving bowl.
- Step 5: Sprinkle the remaining crushed Heath bar pieces on top of the dip.
- Step 6: Serve immediately with sliced apples and pretzel sticks for dipping. You can also chill for later use.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- If the dip firms up too much after chilling, let it sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes to soften slightly before serving.
- For a fun twist, try using a variety of apples, such as Granny Smith and Honeycrisp, for different flavor profiles.
- Don't overmix the Heath bar pieces; gently fold them in to keep their crunchy texture!
