  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large head of cauliflower
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Wash and trim the cauliflower, removing the outer leaves and cutting it into florets.
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Step 3: Spread the seasoned cauliflower florets in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Step 4: Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender and slightly browned, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  5. Step 5: If desired, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese during the last 5 minutes of baking.
  6. Step 6: Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftover baked cauliflower in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • For best results, reheat the cauliflower in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) until warmed through, to help retain its crispness.
  • Serve this flavorful baked cauliflower as a healthy and delicious side dish to grilled chicken or fish.
  • Don't overcrowd the baking sheet; ensure florets are in a single layer to allow proper browning and prevent steaming.
