- Beef Sirloin, thinly sliced: 1 pound
- Broccoli Florets: 4 cups
- Soy Sauce: 1/4 cup
- Brown Sugar: 2 tablespoons
- Cornstarch: 2 tablespoons
- Garlic, minced: 2 cloves
- Ginger, minced: 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable Oil: 2 tablespoons
Instructions
- Step 1: In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, garlic, and ginger. Set aside.
- Step 2: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
- Step 3: Add the sliced beef to the skillet and stir-fry until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove beef from the skillet and set aside.
- Step 4: Add broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, until bright green and slightly tender.
- Step 5: Pour the soy sauce mixture over the broccoli and cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens, about 1 minute.
- Step 6: Return the cooked beef to the skillet and toss with the broccoli and sauce. Cook for another minute, until heated through. Serve immediately.
