Ingredients
- Ladyfingers: 24
- Mascarpone cheese: 16 ounces
- Heavy cream: 1 cup
- Granulated sugar: 1/2 cup
- Fresh blueberries: 2 cups
- Blueberry jam: 1/4 cup
- Coffee liqueur: 1/4 cup (optional)
- Brewed coffee, cooled: 1 cup
Instructions
- Step 1: In a large bowl, beat together the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, and sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Step 2: Gently fold in 1 cup of fresh blueberries and the blueberry jam into the mascarpone mixture.
- Step 3: If using, dip each ladyfinger in the coffee liqueur (or cooled coffee) for a few seconds until lightly soaked. Do not over-soak.
- Step 4: Arrange half of the soaked ladyfingers in a single layer in the bottom of a serving dish or individual glasses.
- Step 5: Spread half of the mascarpone and blueberry mixture over the ladyfingers. Repeat with the remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.
- Step 6: Garnish with the remaining 1 cup of fresh blueberries. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
- For best flavor, let the tiramisu chill overnight – the longer it sits, the better the flavors blend.
- This tiramisu is best served chilled; no reheating required!
- Garnish each serving with a sprig of mint for a pop of fresh color and aroma.
- Don't skip chilling the coffee – hot coffee will make the ladyfingers too soggy!
