Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning (1 ounce)
- 1 can (8 ounces) crescent roll dough
- 1 can (15 ounces) refried beans
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.
- Step 2: Stir in taco seasoning with the beef and add 1/4 cup of water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Step 3: Unroll crescent roll dough on a baking sheet or pizza stone. Press the seams together to form a large pizza crust.
- Step 4: Spread refried beans evenly over the crescent roll crust.
- Step 5: Sprinkle the taco meat over the refried beans, then top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Step 6: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove from oven and top with lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream before serving.
Notes
- Leftovers taste great cold the next day, or gently reheat slices in a skillet for a crispy crust.
- For extra flavor, mix a tablespoon of taco seasoning into your sour cream before dolloping it on top.
- Serve with a side of your favorite salsa and tortilla chips for a complete taco night experience!
- Don't overbake the crust; it should be golden but still soft enough to easily slice and enjoy.
