- 8 oz Fresh Mozzarella, sliced 1/4 inch thick
- 1 pint Cherry Tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup Fresh Basil Leaves, roughly chopped
- 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 tablespoon Balsamic Glaze
- 1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1/8 teaspoon Black Pepper

- Step 2: Place mozzarella slices on top of the cucumber, also overlapping slightly.
- Step 3: Scatter the halved cherry tomatoes evenly over the mozzarella and cucumber.
- Step 4: Sprinkle the chopped fresh basil leaves over the entire salad.
- Step 5: Drizzle the extra virgin olive oil and balsamic glaze over the salad.
- Step 6: Season with sea salt and black pepper to taste before serving.
Notes
- To prevent a soggy salad, only dress it right before serving.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator, but note that the cucumbers may release water.
- This salad is a refreshing appetizer, but it also pairs beautifully with grilled chicken or fish for a light meal.
- For the best flavor, use high-quality balsamic glaze and a flavorful extra virgin olive oil.
