Ingredients
- Apple Cider: 64 ounces
- Cranberry Juice: 32 ounces
- Ginger Ale: 32 ounces
- Orange Juice: 16 ounces
- Spiced Rum (optional): 1 cup
- Cinnamon Sticks: 4
- Orange, sliced: 1
- Cranberries (fresh or frozen): 1 cup
Instructions
- Step 1: In a large punch bowl or beverage dispenser, combine the apple cider, cranberry juice, orange juice, and spiced rum (if using).
- Step 2: Add the cinnamon sticks and orange slices to the punch bowl. Gently stir to combine the ingredients and allow the flavors to meld.
- Step 3: Refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to fully develop.
- Step 4: Just before serving, add the ginger ale to the punch bowl. Stir gently to combine, being careful not to flatten the ginger ale.
- Step 5: Add the cranberries to the punch bowl for a festive appearance and a burst of flavor.
- Step 6: Serve the Festive Autumn Harvest Punch chilled and enjoy! Garnish individual glasses with extra orange slices or cranberries, if desired.
Notes
- Store leftover punch in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, but remember the ginger ale will lose its fizz.
- Reheating isn't recommended, but if you must, warm it gently on the stovetop over low heat, avoiding boiling, and add a splash of fresh orange juice to brighten the flavor.
- Serve this punch in festive mugs or mason jars rimmed with cinnamon sugar for an extra touch of autumn charm.
- Don't be afraid to experiment with other fall fruits like pear slices or pomegranate seeds for a personalized twist.
