- 1 wheel (8 ounces) Brie cheese
- 2 tablespoons Fig Jam
- 1 tablespoon Honey
- 1 tablespoon chopped Walnuts or Pecans
- 1 teaspoon fresh Thyme leaves
- Crackers or baguette slices, for serving
- Optional: Balsamic Glaze for drizzling
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Step 2: Place the Brie wheel in an oven-safe dish or skillet.
- Step 3: Spread the fig jam evenly over the top of the Brie.
- Step 4: Drizzle the honey over the fig jam, then sprinkle with chopped nuts and fresh thyme.
- Step 5: Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the Brie is softened and gooey.
- Step 6: Let cool slightly before serving with crackers or baguette slices. Drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired.
Notes
- Store leftover baked brie in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- To reheat, microwave in 30-second intervals or bake at 300°F (150°C) until warmed through, but be careful not to overcook it!
- Serve immediately while warm and gooey with a variety of crackers, fruit, or toasted baguette slices for dipping.
- For an extra nutty flavor, lightly toast the walnuts or pecans in a dry pan before adding them to the Brie.
