Ingredients

  • Ground beef: 1.5 pounds
  • Mashed potatoes: 6 cups (prepared)
  • Shredded cheddar cheese: 2 cups
  • Bacon: 8 slices, cooked and crumbled
  • Onion: 1 medium, chopped
  • Cream of mushroom soup: 1 can (10.75 ounces)
  • Milk: 1/4 cup
  • Worcestershire sauce: 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.
  2. Step 2: Press the meat mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Step 3: Spread the prepared mashed potatoes evenly over the meat mixture.
  4. Step 4: Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese over the mashed potatoes.
  5. Step 5: Top with the cooked and crumbled bacon and then the remaining shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Step 6: Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until heated through and cheese is melted and bubbly. Let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.
