Delicious manwich casserole: 15 min easy, flavorful joy recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Manwich Sauce: 2 (15 ounce) cans
  • Ground Beef: 1 pound
  • Onion, chopped: 1/2 medium
  • Cheddar Cheese, shredded: 2 cups
  • Tater Tots: 32 ounces (frozen)
  • Cream of Mushroom Soup: 1 (10.75 ounce) can
  • Milk: 1/2 cup
  • Garlic powder: 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  2. Step 2: Stir in the Manwich sauce and garlic powder into the ground beef mixture. Simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Step 3: In a separate bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup and milk. Mix well.
  4. Step 4: Spread the ground beef mixture evenly into a 9×13 inch baking dish. Pour the cream of mushroom soup mixture over the ground beef.
  5. Step 5: Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the cream of mushroom soup mixture.
  6. Step 6: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the tater tots. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • For best results, reheat individual portions in the microwave or oven until heated through, being careful not to overcook the tater tots.
  • Serve with a dollop of sour cream or a sprinkle of fresh parsley for added flavor and visual appeal.
  • To prevent soggy tater tots, consider partially baking them before assembling the casserole.
