- 8–10 Apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1 cup Rolled Oats
- 1 cup Brown Sugar, packed
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) Cold Butter, cut into cubes
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples and sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. Arrange the apples evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Step 3: In a separate bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, and remaining cinnamon.
- Step 4: Cut in the cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Step 5: Sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over the apples.
- Step 6: Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender. Let cool slightly before serving.
