  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • Shrimp (peeled and deveined) 1 pound
  • Broccoli florets 1 pound
  • Olive oil 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic (minced) 2 cloves
  • Soy sauce 3 tablespoons
  • Cornstarch 1 tablespoon

  • Red pepper flakes 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Set aside.
  2. Step 2: Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Step 3: Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender-crisp.
  4. Step 4: Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until pink and cooked through.
  5. Step 5: Pour the soy sauce mixture over the shrimp and broccoli. Cook and stir for 1-2 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • For best results, reheat gently in a skillet over medium heat, adding a splash of water if needed to loosen the sauce.
  • Serve Shrimp and Broccoli over rice or noodles for a complete and satisfying meal.
  • To prevent overcooked shrimp, ensure your skillet is hot before adding them, and don't overcrowd the pan.
