Ingredients
- Chicken breast, boneless and skinless: 1 pound
- Ramen noodles: 2 packages
- Chicken broth: 4 cups
- Soy sauce: 2 tablespoons
- Garlic cloves, minced: 4
- Heavy cream: 1/4 cup
- Chili garlic sauce: 1-2 tablespoons (adjust to taste)
- Green onions, sliced: 2
Instructions
- Step 1: Cook the chicken. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces. In a pan over medium-high heat, cook the chicken until fully cooked and lightly browned. Set aside.
- Step 2: Prepare the broth. In a pot, combine the chicken broth, soy sauce, and chili garlic sauce. Bring to a simmer.
- Step 3: Cook the ramen noodles. Add the ramen noodles to the simmering broth and cook according to package directions.
- Step 4: Make the creamy garlic sauce. In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic and heavy cream.
- Step 5: Combine everything. Stir the creamy garlic sauce into the ramen broth. Then add the cooked chicken to the pot.
- Step 6: Serve. Divide the ramen into bowls and garnish with sliced green onions. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Store leftover ramen separately from the broth to prevent soggy noodles.
- Gently reheat leftover ramen on the stovetop with a splash of extra broth to loosen the noodles.
- Top your ramen with a soft-boiled egg for added richness and protein.
- For a deeper garlic flavor, lightly sauté the minced garlic in olive oil before adding the heavy cream.
