Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (14.1 ounce) can refrigerated cinnamon rolls, including icing
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1/4 cup strawberry jam
- 1/4 cup heavy cream, whipped
- Optional: Chopped strawberries for garnish
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Unroll the cinnamon rolls and separate them.
- Step 2: In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Step 3: Spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture onto each cinnamon roll. Top with several sliced strawberries and a small spoonful of strawberry jam. Roll up tightly.
- Step 4: Place the filled cinnamon rolls in a greased 8×8 inch baking dish. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and heated through.
- Step 5: While the rolls are baking, prepare the icing from the can of cinnamon rolls. Once the rolls are baked, let them cool slightly before drizzling with the prepared icing.
- Step 6: Top with whipped cream and optional chopped strawberries for garnish. Serve warm.
Notes
- Store leftover rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, or freeze for longer storage.
- For perfectly warmed rolls, reheat them briefly in the microwave or oven until heated through, avoiding over-browning.
- Serve these delightful rolls with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a truly decadent dessert experience.
- To prevent the jam from leaking during baking, use a slightly less ripe strawberry jam, as it will be less runny.
