Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato fries with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Step 3: Spread the sweet potato fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they are not overcrowded.
- Step 4: Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until fries are tender and slightly crispy.
- Step 5: While the fries are baking, prepare the garlic aioli. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise and minced garlic until well combined.
- Step 6: Serve the sweet potato fries immediately with the garlic aioli dip.
Notes
- Store leftover aioli in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- For best results, reheat fries in a preheated oven or air fryer to restore crispiness.
- Sprinkle the sweet potato fries with a pinch of sea salt and fresh parsley after baking for an extra touch of flavor.
- To prevent soggy fries, ensure they are spaced evenly on the baking sheet and don't overcrowd them.
