Ingredients
Scale
- 6 Snickers bars (fun size), chopped
- 4 Granny Smith apples, cored and diced
- 1 (8 ounce) container Cool Whip, thawed
- 1 (5.3 ounce) container vanilla Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the chopped Snickers bars and diced apples.
- Step 2: In a separate bowl, whisk together the Cool Whip, Greek yogurt, milk, and caramel sauce until well combined and smooth.
- Step 3: Pour the Cool Whip mixture over the Snickers and apple mixture.
- Step 4: Gently fold everything together until all ingredients are evenly coated. Be careful not to overmix.
- Step 5: Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
- Step 6: Before serving, sprinkle with chopped pecans or walnuts, if desired.
Notes
- Store leftover Snickers salad in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, but be aware the apples may soften slightly.
- This salad is best served chilled and fresh, so avoid reheating as the Cool Whip will melt and the apples will become mushy.
- For extra crunch, add a sprinkle of pretzel pieces right before serving for a salty-sweet contrast.
- Gently fold the ingredients together to prevent the apples from bruising and maintain the salad's fluffy texture.
