- 1 loaf Italian bread, sliced lengthwise
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 2 medium tomatoes, diced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Step 2: In a small bowl, combine olive oil and minced garlic. Brush the garlic oil mixture evenly over the cut sides of the Italian bread.
- Step 3: Sprinkle the chopped tomatoes, basil, Parmesan cheese, and mozzarella cheese evenly over both halves of the bread. Sprinkle with salt.
