Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Step 2: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Step 3: In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Step 4: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the sour cream, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Step 5: Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving some space between each cookie.
- Step 6: Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown. Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
