- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
- 1 package (16 ounces) frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 bag (32 ounces) frozen tater tots
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Step 2: In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, frozen mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, milk, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well.
- Step 3: Pour the chicken mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Step 4: Arrange the frozen tater tots evenly over the top of the chicken mixture in a single layer.
- Step 5: Drizzle the melted butter over the tater tots.
- Step 6: Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and the chicken mixture is bubbly. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For easier cleanup, spray your baking dish with non-stick cooking spray before adding the chicken mixture.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- To reheat, cover with foil and bake at 350°F until warmed through, or microwave individual portions.
- Serve with a dollop of sour cream or hot sauce for extra flavor.
